Carteret Borough to Host Career Fair for Blue Apron

Carteret, NJ – The Carteret Business Partnership will be hosting a Career Fair for Blue Apron’s new Linden production facility on Friday, March 24th from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Thomas J. Deverin Community Center, 100 Cooke Ave, Carteret, New Jersey.  Blue Apron is hiring hundreds of employees for 25 different job titles for their new facility at 901 West Linden Ave, Linden, NJ.  Job descriptions for the positions available are published on Carteret.net.

Blue Apron is a meal delivery service that provides pre-measured ingredients along with easy to follow recipes to subscribers.  The company was co-founded in 2012 by Matthew Wadiak, a former Carteret resident, Matt Salzberg and Ilia Papas.  The new facility was constructed to meet the demand of their subscribers in the New York Metropolitan area.  Blue Apron ships 8 million meals a month.

“Blue Apron is an innovative business model for people with busy lifestyles. It is unique in that it provides healthy meals to subscribers as opposed to the alternative fast food options,” said Mayor Reiman. “I think it is great that Matt wanted to do a career fair in Carteret.”
